As I hope many of you are already aware thanks to various sources around the Internet, FOX recently announced that the best sci-fi series currently on television, Fringe, will be moving to the “Friday Night Death Slot” when American Idol returns. Obviously, we here at BF are upset about this, so we assembled a panel of crack commentators to dig into the broken TV ratings system that led to its demise. Kevin and Simon played devil’s advocates, Matt Legler played his 78, and I drank a little too much mead. Have a listen! And don’t forget to record this in your Nielsen journal.

First off, I would like to express my apologies for the lack of WIN here recently on BF. We are college students after all, with all the lack of sleep, homework, and other rigmarole that entails. BUT we’re back for another episode, though the relevance is about a week late. If you’ve been following Dollhouse, you’ll know it has been rather full of WIN lately, so full in fact that we needed to get an additional Kevin to talk about it all. BF fan and fellow podcaster Kevin Miller joined me and Kevin Saunders to discuss our pet show a bit. There were SPOILERS GALORE, so if you’re averse to that… tough. Suck it up and listen anyway.

This past Friday the 13th, Joss Whedon’s new series “Dollhouse” premiered on FOX, and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past two episodes of BF, you’ll recall that Kevin and I are huge fans of Mr. Whedon’s work. We were there on the scene to record our immediate reaction, and now you get to listen to it (don’t you feel lucky?).

As we enter 2009, the last year of the Noughties, we here at BF decided to do a little retrospective on the previous year, highlighting some things that piqued our interest in 2008. Not only that, we decided to make some outlandish predictions as well. If you’re still hungover from last night’s revelry, we forgive you. If not, join me, Kevin, and Jed for some laid-back BF action. We even created a New Year’s resolution for once-again-absent Matt Legler, who was stuck in the middle of nowhere unfortunately.
